Update From Jess (on behalf of Sue)

Home from Chemo. This was Jess's first time with me and meeting my doctor. Feeling better. Still very sleepy. Had a fun visit from Holly and Allison. Debbie was my consistant note taker. Still small apppetite. Enjoying popcicles, and diluted cranberry juice! Contemplating soup. The pain meds are working successfully.

Susan,
We miss your smile at school, but knowing you are taking care of yourself makes me smile. You deserve to focus just on you and as hard as I know it is for you, take that time and enjoy it. I might even let you teach me how to quilt. I threatened to do that once and one thing this has taught me is to quit procrastinating on the things that could lead to something amazing. We love you.

Hey Susie! Glad your awesome family and friends can be there for you. And, thank you God for modern medicine and the good people who research and administer. She insisted I look at the pictures and they were.....

Praying for you, for the pain meds to work and for you to be comfortable. I'm heading to Moscow today to see Luke and Mark and to attend the graduation of my niece tomorrow.
